Pours a cloudy amber caramel color with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Clearly visible chunks of yeast present during pour even without completely emptying bottle. Aroma is fruit, nuts, malt, caramel. Flavor: strong notes of caramel, honey, and spice with a slight bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied beer that improved in character and taste throughout consumption. Very well-balanced with well-hidden alcohol. Very well-done tripel style abbey ale. 502Flavors (629), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2008 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass. Pours a hazy yellow with a minimal, fast, fading, white head - looks good, but just not like a beer, more like a fruit drink. Aroma: sweet citrus hops, orange; soft in general. Flavor is sweet (but not too sweet) and pleasing: bitter acid finish. Alcohol is hidden well. Smooth and simple on the palate with soft fizzy, medium body. Overall: good, but not outstandingly unique. MrChopin (684), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2008 Cloudy gold with white ring for a head. Sweet citrus nose (banana+orange) with alcohol and faint dust. As the beer warms, it gains a huge yeast boost to a generally sweet flavor with caramel, alcohol, orange, and slight hop bitter. Oranges and caramel linger in the mouth. This beer explodes on your tongue, in large part thanks to the alcohol. Another winner from Victory. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2008 Crazy beer that packs a wicked buzz. Plenty of carbonation. Pours a cloudy, murky orange colour with a large fluffy white head. Fruit-forward in character, aroma is pleasent, soft hops, wheat and oranges. Taste is citrusy- lemon zest and coriander seed. Finishes semi-tart, but pleasent. santos999 (318), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 2/5 | 18/20 | May 12, 2008 Bottled May 5th, 2005. Looks a little lighter in color with a soapy, thin white head. Lots of slow moving carbonation. Crystal clear. Incredibly citric in the nose, with a beautiful peppery/floral background. Sweet, bubblegum, funky yeast notes. The taste is indescribable. It tastes like an authentic Abbey Tripel. Cloves, pepper, orange, lemon, bread, caramel, candi sugar, strawberries, and more. Amazingly complex, amazingly balanced, and amazingly delicious. This is one of my favorite brews to age. 3 years and I think it still could have gone for at least another 3 years. Further proof that with some beers, patience is a virtue. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2008 I bought this beer for sitting on my porch and enjoying. It is enjoyable, if I’m only having one. It smelled like many spice laden tripels of it’s style and poured a nice golden color. THe spice was too overpowering and I could only drink all of one. After starting the second one, I wanted to puke. But I would recomend this for tastings and other similair events because it is a very intriguing beer.
