| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of tropical fruits, some spices but not really the sort I would expect from a Belgian tripel. Flavor left something wanting. More of that tropical fruit, but little else except some strange medicinal quality or maybe it’s just very misplaced, unblended bitterness. The palate also didn’t do it for me, sort of too dense and robust for the amount of carbonation. I can’t say that overall it was bad per se, but I also wouldn’t choose this over any decent session beer in any circumstance, and that obviously isn’t a very good report for a tripel. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2008 This beer competes well with any tripel that I have had. Fruity, spicy, and sweet, with a well-hidden alcohol flavor in the finish. LilBeerDoctor (1507), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Bottle. Poured a mango orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, mango, cantelope. Taste of the same fruits, some spices, finish of bitter rind. Heavy mouthfeel for a tripel. Ehh, I just didn’t really like this one. The flavors didn’t mesh together very well. satan165 (597), River Grove, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Look is a golden yellow color. Subtle head.
The alcohol is very present. Lemony hints, fruity undertones and spicies. Very inviting. You can taste the alcohol. Can’t really get pass it. The friends that I have said that they tasted some hints of bananas. I can see how they think that. Lemony kinda taste too. Complex spices are also present. Not a chugging beer. A sipping beer.
