Commercial Description:
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with a billowy white head. Notice yeast in the aroma and then a lot of spices and fruit but also a sweetness like cotton candy. I get that cotton candy taste in the flavor also - not sure thats a good thing - yeast, spices, raisins and then a bitter finish. Too sweet to start and then too strange in the aftertaste but good in between.

Bottle. Pours a golden bronze and rather syrupy. Taste: complete caramel and heavy on the honey. Very nice "American" Tripel!

Serving: 22 oz. bottle. Appearance: Solid gold color with a frothy white head. Okay head retention. Aroma: Yeast, spice notes, some tropical fruit, and honey. Not too bad. Taste: A wee bit on the sweet side for my tastes. Yeast, light alcohol notes, honey, and spice. This one does a pretty good job of hiding it’s alcohol. Palate: Medium-high, fine carbonation with a medium-light, sticky mouthfeel and a medium-short finish. It was lighter in body than I was expecting. Overall: I think this one is a little overrated. It’s not terrible, but I don’t think it warrants almost a 3.7 either. Give it a go and let me know what you think.

Pours golden orange with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, and some banana. Flavor is the same with an emphasis on the belgian yeast and some sweet fruit.

Pale moisty golden pour with a fine small frothy head that tends to fade a little. The nose is mild with a yeasty aroma and perfumic notes and something like kiwi. The taste is oposit the aroma pretty strong and agressive.. I could feel it all the way to my ears...straaange. The sweetness from yeasts and malts combined with heavy alcohol notes. There are some spices like ginger and pepper...with a harch finish. I kinda feel that it is somehow to sweet. The palate is picking and creamy. Some would say that triples are for belgians too make... maybe they are right? This one are Ok though

A very nice Tripel at a reasonable price. The beer pours a bright, pale banana yellow with a smallish white head. It’s mostly clear with a slight haze. The aroma is primarily spice and malt. It’s a blend of coriander and other Belgian-style spicing with a sweet, honey-ish grain note. The flavor is similar. There’s plenty of spicing, a touch of hops and a strong malt backbone. The malt isn’t nearly as sticky as I expected from the relatively high 9.5% abv. Despite the sweet malt flavor, it’s actually a fairly dry beer, refreshing for the style. The mouthfeel is full and round, while maintaining a certain crispness. It’s dangerously easy to drink.
