| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 8, 2009 I split this bottle with a friend and I was glad. The monkey is deceptively strong as you cannot taste the alcohol. The color is a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. The smell is yeasty and spicy. The taste was fruity, yeasty, spicy and delicious. I would have drank the whole bottle but I am glad I didn’t given the high ABV. This is a solid beer from Victory and if you like the style, give it a shot.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Bottled. Slight hazy golden color, short head. Aroma is spicy, bit herbal, some hop, bit malt, citrus. Spicy taste, like a belgian triple. Most american-based belgian ales are overhopped, but this one is like a belgian one. But that doesnt mean it stands out above the rest, it is just average. Listigovers (101), Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Bottle, chalice. Yeasty spicy aroma, not too strong. Poor head retention, golden, slightly cloudy. Very yeasty, opens up to a moderate spiciness. Quite bitter. Mouthfeel akin to Weihenstephaner Hefe, not a compliment. It’s boring and flat. Overall, okay. Beerapprentice (130), Hopatcong, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Bottle at the Dayton Ale Fest. Pours a nice golden-orange color with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet malts and citrus. Notes of corriander, sweet orange peels, and fruity yeast stand out. On the palate, it has a huge level of carbonation. The flavor brings out the corriander as well as the sweet yeast. It finishes rather dry and sweet. Not a bad beer. jmm635 (265), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a light orange hue. Decent white head. Citrusy aroma, mainly oranges, and a good bit of yeast. Flavor is a little bit spicier, with lots of carbonation. Alcohol was well hidden now that I read it comes in at 9.5%. evergreen0199 (275), London, Greater London, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Bottle. A golden coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Sweet fruity, herbal aroma. Quite sweet, pineapple, banana, spice, honey, boozy. Quite a nice Belgian Triple clone but I prefer Victorys US style beers.
