Commercial Description:
Sensual splendor in the form of a Belgian inspired ale of vast appeal. Wonderfully aromatic in its seduction of the senses. So simple in its creation, so magnificent in its maturity, this wonderful ale begins with Nature’s most humble offerings, water, malted grains and hops. Our soulful yeast breathes life and depth into each brew. The steady hand of time orchestrates this alchemy into the splendid ale before you.

Very thick white head. Slightly cloudy amber. Big yeasty aroma followed with strong alcohol. Nice despite its boldness. Big Belgian flavour, some hoppy aftertaste. Rather usual brew.

Color sort of matches the bottle, brownish gold. Little head at all. Aroma wasn't as aromatic as many Belgiums that I've had. Flavor was yeasty, slightly sweet, and spicy(pepper). Finish is fairly dry. Overall it was a decent beer, but when Victory says Grand Cru, I expected more.

2003 Vintage - Slightly hazy orange color. Foamy off-white head. Sweet peach and citrusy hop aroma. The flavor has a little bit of sweetness, some tart apple flavors and nice hop presence. Body is medium-full and the beer finishes very crisp and medium dry. Flavors do not linger for very long. The primary aftertaste is citrus hops. This one should age well.

Nice red color with a light orange head. Moderately sweet and very smooth. Alcohol is hidden well. Smooth and slightly dry finish.

(650ml bottle) Thin, white head and a copper body. Nose of lactic malt and hops. Oranges, raisins and spices clear the way for a alcohol finish. So much better than the other Victory products that I have had this year! Very good.

Amber color, some sediment. Aroma was fruity(peach and orange), malty and a little spicy. Flavor was similar with some hops at the end for a fairly bitter finish. Medium body, lots of carbonation. Quite nice.
