| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Draft. Nice golden amber body with nice head. aroma is of hops and sweet caramel. Flavor has a nice hop profile and even nicer sweet malt body. This went down smooth and was one of the best wet hops beers I ever had. MrBendo (1043), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2007 Draft. NO big surprise, Victory can make an nice IPA (APA, not really). Nice flowery wet hop aroma with strong but not overly citrusy hopping. Good malt hop balance late. Decent head and lacing. puzzl (2621), New York, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 20, 2007 Very dark pour for an IPA (well, at least that’s what I thought it was), with little head. Creamy hop aroma, light malts. Vegetal, eggplant, sugar. Not too hoppy taste, mild malts, good balance. Peach, lemon, caramalized malts. Quite boring. I’d be much more keen to call this an IPA or an Amber than an APA. notalush (2669), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Tap at Blind Tiger - bright orange pour with a small head of loose, large bubbles - light bready/yeasty notes in the aroma, with some fairly sweet, almost citrusy fruity smells - quite sweet flavor, with a kind of orange marmalade quality to it - a metallic, acidic bitterness cuts through this, but I don’t detect a lot of hops - more malty/bready sweetness comes up from under this to help distract from the beers flaws - a decent apa. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2006 Tap at d. b. a. Clear golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly malty and sweet, some earthy/dusty malts with a bit of sulfurous yeasty character as well. Flavour is decent but quite sweet. Bready malts, some toast and sweet honey flavour. Slightly oxidized flavour and I really don’t know where the hops are in this… I’d take the harvest pils over this any day of the week.
