Commercial Description:
Three hop varieties have added tremendous zest to this Pale Ale. After a soft and full floral nose, those juicy hops saturate the middle of this amber ale with more flowery fullness. The malt body punctuates the lingering hop richness of this one-of-a-kind ale.

KSBF. I believe they were pouring this out of 750ml bottles. Poured a medium to deeper golden / amber color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of fresh hops - pine & grass with some caramel. Tastes of lighter hops (didn’t have that fresh, green hoppiness) - grass and pine with caramel. Lighter bitter finish.

Tap at d. b. a. Clear golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly malty and sweet, some earthy/dusty malts with a bit of sulfurous yeasty character as well. Flavour is decent but quite sweet. Bready malts, some toast and sweet honey flavour. Slightly oxidized flavour and I really don’t know where the hops are in this… I’d take the harvest pils over this any day of the week.

Orangy coppery pour with medium head. Malty aroma with a hoppy floral and fruity smell. This one reminds me a lot of the Manayunk wet hopped brew, with the caramel malty flavor backed up by an earthy, sort of fruity yet peaty hop, as such. Complex and well balanced, I had several pints of this.

Poured an amber color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of fresh hops, piney, floral, with some resin, light caramel malts, and grass. Taste wasn’t quite as vibrant as the aroma, was grassy, with some toffee, citrus fruits, light caramel, and finishing with a low bitterness.

Tap at BT for the Victory promo night. Pours a clean clear copper with a foamy lasting white head. Aroma is citrusy and flowery hops- slight tea, orange zest, herbs and slight earthiness- some pine as well- and a light toffee and caramel malt sweetness. Flavor is a good solid toasty malt backbone and lots of fresh yet somewhat green hops- flowery and nice citrus and hints of mint. Clean and modest bitter finish. Nice, but not over the top with hops.

Draft @ Exton. Coppery gold with a tight head. Plenty hoppy with a metalic, bottom of the keg taste. I am 0 for 4 so far today. Fuckin horrible.

On tap at the Blue Dog Pub in Lansdale. Man they need to clean their lines. Despite the nasty stuff that the Blue Dog lines may have brought to the beer I felt that I still got enough out of it to provide an honest rating. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a medium foamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, some citrus, toffee, pine and grass. Flavors were a mix of the same. Nice touch of hop bitterness and I liked how the wet hops came across in the flavor on this one.

Draft at Blind Tiger. Poured a clear medium orange color with an off white head. Smelled of light citrus and caramel. Light to medium bodied with mild to moderate bitterness at the end. Dry up front and moderately carbonated with a crisp mouth feel. Pleasant flavors of fall leaves, grassy hops, toasted bread, and subdued toffee. Decent enough.
