Commercial Description:
The radiant energy of the sun gives life to all that we enjoy. Flowing field of barley for malting, surging vines of ripening hops and even pure, clean water owe their vitality to the sun. Just as we do. So in crafting this unique, hazy orange-hued ale, we poured in nature’s great gifts of German malts and European hops to feed the dynamic yeast that we imported from Belgium. Here in the quiet tanks of Victory our yeast brought vitality to this Belgian style farmhouse ale. That energy has created impressions that range from lemon peel to black pepper, though such spices are not added. Great with a wide array of foods, count on the bright soul of Helios Ale to bring life to all of your meals!

Bottle at Butters Big Cellar Blowout! Pours a white fine bubbled head with a chunky, particulated, golden body. Smells of bread. Doughy and tart in flavor.

Butter’s cellar tasting. Thx butters. Best Saison of the tasting so far. Yeasty, yeasty bread on the nose. Nice, milky yellow opaque color. Just the right amount of tart, sour fruit.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a large, frothy, white head, somewhat diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), light hop (flowers), heavy yeast (barnyard, earth, horse blanket) with notes of pepper, coriander, and pear. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a dry finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Cork shot off the bottle, hit the ceiling, then hit my girlfriend. I spilled some of the beer because I was laughing so hard. Golden pour with a thick white head. Sweet aroma with notes of green apples, citrus, grapes and spices. Flavor is light and crisp, nice sweetness cut with some spicy hops. Mostly banana, Some other fruits and honey. Effervescent, bubbly mouthfeel. Good, would be better with a stronger hop presence in the finish.
