Fluffy white micro head recedes to skim surface leaving no lacing. Caramel malt and candi aromas. Upfront sweet honey and biscuit which turns to pine in the middle. Lasting, dry and slightly sour finish. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale golden beer with a thick white head. Aroma is decent, light apple/pear fruitiness underlying a nice spicy black pepper/clovey character. Nice dry palate with a bit of crusty breadiness and a lingering wheatiness. Warming bring up more spiciness and loads of fruitiness as well. Cherries and a light berry character as well. Some light citrus on the back. It’s quite nice, but it really lacks the rusticity that I normally enjoy in a good saison. ajm (925), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 30, 2008 I give it a good flavor score because it tastes more of earth than of hops, which I respect and enjoy. Nice hop flavor too, don’t misunderstand, but this is much more balanced than I usually encounter in saison. Chipper (185), Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Pours a nice orange/amber color with a big off-white and lasting head. A little sweet and fruity upfront, and finishes clean and slightly bitter. Good stuff. satan165 (577), River Grove, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Appealing orange color with good carbonation and head. Enjoyable aroma, albeit hard to pin down, but with essence of caramel banana. Flavor is light caramel malt. Perilously drinkable, but would never call this a "saison." alobar (1017), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Pours a straw yellow color with a sopay white head. Aroma of lemons and yeast. Taste is complex-lemony zest with yeast and some tartness. Dry finish. Very nice. Butters (1650), Virginia, USA

Clearish yellow with slight chill-haze and bubbly white head. Citrus nose and massively bready. Farmhouse flavors aren’t overpowering and is suprisingly balanced. Nice and thin refreshing body with big carbonation. Decent, not overly tart, finish.
