Feb 9, 2008 Bottle, brewed 7/3/07. Somewhat cloudy gold, with a touch of orange. Aroma is spices, wheat, sugar, citrus, and alcohol. Flavor is spicy, peppery, wheat, citrus, and is a little earthy. Ends a little dry. Very good. I’d like to see how this ages.

Jan 15, 2008 Updated: Sep 27, 2009750mL bottle. Poured orange body. Aroma is citrus, orange, and something else sweet. Taste is citrus and sort of tart, but really good. I want to try this one again when I am more sober.::::SECOND TRY:::: Bottle. Pours hazy orange body. The aroma on this guy is WEIRD, smells like serious fecal matter. Slightly bitter taste.

Jan 15, 2008 Super hazy golden coloured body with orange highlights and a nice soapy white head. Aroma of coriander seed, curacao, wheat, hops and a little bit of smoke. Super-carbonated, sharp alcohol and acids up front with a following of sugar and spice. Aftertaste sweet and tangy - a good kick and sharp with flavours. Overall, different and good for the style...thanks jon[r888710] for this one! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 07-November-2005.

Jan 13, 2008 Bottled on 4-1-2005. Pours a clear gold with a fizzy champagne like head. Smells of citrus, grapes, touches of sweet caramel, sugar, some hay. Tastes lightly earthy and peppery with a compliment of citrus. Time has morphed this beer into something completely different than the sugary mess it was fresh.

Jan 1, 2008 750 ml bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingereing white head. Aromas of pineapple, pear, light spice, light straw and a hint of yeast. Palate was light bodied crisp and slightly dry. Flavors of straw, pear, spice and light yeast with a smooth dry lingering bitter spice finish.

Dec 18, 2007 Purchased for $7 at Victory’s brewpub and brewery (along with the other V-series offering), this is a great American take on a classic Belgian style ale. The ’tart fruit’ is the name of this one as it bites the palate and leaves with the dry finish. Not bad.
