| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2006 Bottle. Quite authentically Belgian. Yeasty, peppery, spicy, with some light alcohol warmth. Soft carbonation on the tongue, with some bitter citrus in the finish. Probably a little more clean and uniform in flavour than other saisons i’ve had, but thats not to say its bad, its quite pleasant. Wonderful mouthfeel, just enough spice and sweetness. Many American craft brewers over emphasize the "spice" in a Saison but this is not one of them. This is a brew I could sit back and enjoy with no criticism. Funknmilla (600), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA

A muddled pineapple nose...pineapple upsidown cake that is...a sour finish Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2006 From a 750ml at the victory brewery.
Cloudy golden yellow with tiny champagne like bubbles running up the side of the snifter. Nice head, didn’t notice the lacing. Smells of bread. Loved the taste of the yeast in this one, and the tiny bubbles. Tasted almost like a wheat beer, with an alcohol kick. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Bottle @ Kookfest. Spicy yeast and pale malty flavours with some fruit. Easily drinkable but not a huge amount of character.
