El_Borracho (472), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 1, 2006 Bottle. At first glance i would have thought someone pulled a fast one and filled the bottle with Corona cause that is how it pours - light yellow with a fizzy white head. Fortunately what Corona lacks this one has plenty of... and that is hops. A whole crapload of ’em. Big citrus aromas and flavors that linger on the finish. Possibly one of the dryest IPA’s I have ever had with almost no malt background. Good but too unbalanced to be great.
nqualls (113), Tennessee, USA Aug 17, 2008 Six pack of 12 ozers at Frugal MacDoogal’s in Charlotte. Poured a clear gold color with a two finger white head, into an english pint glass. Aroma was yeasty and a little malt. Flavor was sweet fruit up front, with a lingering bitter bite. Medium body with average carbonation. Really enjoyed this beer. Trev (479), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Aug 9, 2008 Pours a clear medium gold with a thick white head. Medium hop aroma of herbal and citrus hop. Backed by sweet toffee and caramel malt tones.
A tart fruitiness in the flavour. Medicinal-herbal hop. Firm malt body and a grassy bitterness in the finish. Some lingering alc as well. malrubius (402), USA Aug 6, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Bright golden with lasting white head and lace. Fresh fresh hop aroma with a little biscuit and yeast. Medium apricot fruitiness with a hint of honey followed by a fresh hop flavor and surprisingly mellow lingering bitter finish. Medium-full body and medium carbo. Not especially complex, just an excellent fresh hop experience. The_Sponge (143), Lynnwood, Washington, USA Aug 5, 2008 12 oz. .bottle purchased at Central Market in Mill Creek, WA. Pours an orange/amber color with an off-white foamy head. Flavor: Very hoppy (duh) with hints of citrus and pine. This is one great beer. LilBeerDoctor (442), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 3, 2008 Bottle, best by 4/9/09. Pours a light clear orange with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of nice citrus and grapefruit hops, sweet malt. Flavor of sweet malt meshing with a bitter hops finish. Not as flavorful as some of the better DIPAs, but this is pretty tasty.
