12 oz bottle served in a tulip. Pours slightly hazy, ruby-orange color with a medium-sized light beige head. Nutty malts, grassy hops, and some dough on the nose. Little lacing. Very creamy, medium body. Good balance of hops and malt. Mildly bittering finish.

On tap at Taco Mac (VA-HI). Pretty beer, deep golden yellow, lively carbonation. Strong aroma of hops, floral and spicy. More of the same in the taste, lots of hops, grassy, almost herbal, grapefruit, somewhat spicy with a touch of ginger. Not overwhelmingly bitter.

Pours an amber color with a thin off white head. Aroma is of citrus, caramel, and pine hops. Flavor starts of mild with the citrus and carmel that give way to the hop flavor. Decently bitter finish.

Bottle from Belmont in Dayton. Pours a dark amber with thin white head. The aroma is strong of sweet, grassey hops. Notes of sweet malts, citrus, pine, and even a hint of dark fruit comes out. The flavor is strong with hops, but the finish brings out the malt. A pretty good everyday IPA.

Served in a shaker at Austin Flying Saucer. No head. Ruby body. Not much aroma. Malt pushes hops a little too far into the background for an IPA.

Probablement la meilleure IPA que j’ai eu l’occasion de boire. Asser faible en bouche côté houblon, mais qui explose en finale. Légèerement épicée et sec.

Big hoppy aroma and taste. Redish Copper in color. Good white head and heavy hop flavor that lingers.

Met two nice guys from PA at DLD 09 and asked them about their local beers. They mentioned Victory so I stopped at a liquor store in Chicagoland on the way home. Red amber pour with a frothy white head. Aroma of hops hit you as you pour the beer. Hops smell sweet, spicy, deliscious. Malt notes appear in the back. You taste the malt, the hps, some sweetness, the hops again, then a sweet dry bitterness at the end. Makes you want another sip.
