| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and citrus. Flavor was lighter than I expected. But tasty nonetheless. Citrusy hop flavor is there, but it isn’t lasting. Seemed a ’little’ light. Good IPA... just not quite upper level. mrbirmingham (37), Kansas, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Aroma: The aroma has a strong citrus aroma with some maltiness in the back ground.
Appearance: The beer has a deep copper color, with tall creamy off white head.
Flavor: I can taste citrus from the hops, a prominent bitter bite, and a strong malt base.
Mouth feel: There is a bite of astringency of the back of the tongue. The body is medium light. The over all taste is clean with minimum after taste.
Overall Impression: A fine beer that embodies all that is good with American IPAs. The American hops show up in the aroma and taste. It is balance towards the hops, as expected and yet the malt is not over powered.

Taste was a bit more citrusy than expected, but a nice treat. Nice balance of malt included to make for an overall nice IPA. xShanex (47), Mansfield, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Bottle. Pours the color of honey with little head and moderate lacing. American hops and citrus on the nose. May be a bit on the watery side but none the less its a decent IPA. Have another? Yep. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
