Jun 10, 2008 Updated: Apr 3, 2009This WAS my favorite beer when I used to buy it in bottles. It is in my kegorator right now, and I’m not very happy. It is not as sweet as it used to be, it smells and tastes a little of barf, sorry but it does, and it is bitter without tasting like hops. Wish I hadn’t paid the $165 for the keg. The only redeeming quality is that it seems to be smoothing out with age, but maybe I’m just getting used to it.

Jun 7, 2008 Bottle - Light Amber color. Small white head with good retention. Serious hop flavor. Bitter, heavy on the grapefruit taste. Extremely dry finish. Gread mouthfeel. More woodsy then grassy. Sticks with you for awhile. Just happened to see a six pack of this gem when I was wondering through a World Market strore. Great beer. I highly recommend.

Jun 5, 2008 Very nice IPA. Nice copper color - lots of hops right up front, especially in the nose. Very nice smooth finish to it - slight bitter, but leaves you wanting more. A very nice change from the usual Stone IPA I find myself leaning towards lately.

Jun 4, 2008 This beer pours with a finger of white foam, which settles down to about a quarter inch. It has a deep copper color and is clear. The aroma is very hoppy. The flavor is hoppy in the beginning. It is somewhat floral with some resinous bite to it. It then ends on a malty note. This beer is medium-full bodied and the carbonation is medium. This is a delicious beer and I highly recommend it for any hopheads out there!

Jun 3, 2008 A pretty good IPA. Smelled of light juicy hops. Tastes of spicey hops with a little grapefruityness. Ends with a bitter finish. Very refreshing.

May 31, 2008 On a really hot day sit in the shade and open a bottle, Ahhhhhhhhh. So refreshing. If you like spicy and bitter with a long bitter finish you should try this beer.

May 31, 2008 Rich amber color with a small but dense lasting head. Aroma is floral and spicy, with a subtle sweetness. Flavor is spicy and floral, with an intense bitter finish that is not found in many beers. Although the flavor is intense, this is very well balanced. Absolutely one of my favorites.
