It poured a bright and light golden color with a crystal-white head. This beer left a sticky and lasting lacing around the glass all the down to the very end. The aroma was very apparant and crisp, with an eye-opening hoppy and citrus clock-in-the-face. It was also very well-rounded with a balanced touch of bready and yeasty tones. The flavors were quite crisp and refreshing, with clear notes of citrus, grapefruit, bread and yeast. The finish was very clean and again refreshing, with tones of hoppiness, malt, earth and bread. This offering is definitely the best of the better that I’ve sampled in the last year or so. I don’t think anybody has done a golden or blond ale better than this for long, long time. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Imperial Pint at Victory. Pours a very light golden with nice carbonation- and a fluffy lasting sticky white head. Aroma is like a very crisp clean subdued APA with a nice citrusy bite, some centennial, and other American hops but not over the top- they let some very crisp almost pilsner like malts to come through. Clean crisp refreshing flavor light pilsner malts, some pale crackeryness to it, fresh biscuits, pizza dough and a nice slight sharp floral and citrus hop kick throughout. Very clean and smooth finish. nice blond ale. fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 7, 2008 Poured a golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of dough, toffee malts, some citrus, and a faint floral hoppiness. Taste of more toast, some toffee, cereal grains, and light citrus fruits. A highly quaffable golden ale here. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Tap at Blind Tiger. Very pale golden ale, thick white head. Aroma is very hoppy with nice light lean pale malts. Clean and approaching a lager in terms of it’s cleanness. Lightly spicy/citrusy but with a lingering herbal character. I can’t believe this isn’t a pilsner, because it could pass for one, and would do well against many of ’em. Light and refreshing. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2008 Draft at Victory. Pours clear medium gold with off-white clingy head. Nose is lemongrassy hops, corn flakey malt, some florals, limey citrus, and white peppery spice. Nose is crisp, with an initial lemongrassy hop and limey citrus followed closely by the bready pale malt, peppery notes, and floral notes. I may go back for a growler of this one.
