May 7, 2008 Shared with HogTownHarry, Harrys bottle! Thanks Harry! Pours a muddy brown, tan colour with zero head. Aroma: Raisens and port, nuts and malt. Flavour: Mild alcohol flavour, some slight bitterness there too, a hint of toffee and spice, nutmeg. Short finish. Not a bad brew at all (my face is flushing due to it though!) Thanks Harry!

May 7, 2008 Bottle (12oz). Shared with garthicus, via trade with goldtwins. Murky brick red with a small off-white head. Really like that aroma - dry, musty wood bitterness, yeast and muted sweet caramel malt and cocoa. Taste - same, sweeter with dry mocha, still woody and leafy, tartness creeps in to the malt in the finish. Thin but chewy body, lightly acidic and carbonated, it tapers off a tad as it finishes, but quite tasty.

May 2, 2008 12oz bottle, purchased from Consumers Beverages in Buffalo (I think). Best before date of August 08. Pours a cloudy murky brown. Nice spicy and yeasty aroma. The mouthfeel is tingly upfront before giving way to the typical warm weizenbock flavours - though it feels less fulfilling than, say, an Aventinus.

Apr 28, 2008 bottle. pours an amber color with many large floaties, there is a one finger tan head on top. smells of citrus and wheat, a small amount of spice is detectable. the flavor is very fruity with some spices nipping at the tip of my tongue. finishes clean with some alcohol warmth.excellent head retention. not much to look at but very tasty.

Apr 4, 2008 There are a lot of different flavors in here. Citrus, vanilla, fruits, and grains are all noticeable in this beer. Good balance, with just a bit of extra and unnecessary alcohol flavor in the finish.

Mar 26, 2008 12 oz bottle - Pours a cloudy medium amber/orange color, with a small, thin off white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma has light caramel, fair amount of clove, hints of apricot, bananna, pear, bubblegum, grains of paradise. Flavor is fairly malty, good amount of light caramel, touch of oak, clove, vanilla, faint metallic off note. Finish is balanced. Overall this is decent, but not all that interesting.

Mar 24, 2008 Pours with a cream, five-finger head, fades very slowly and leaves a good lace. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Cloudy amber color with a lot of floaties. Nose is yeasty. Flavor is sweet, yeasty, some caramel. Higher ABV is hidden. $2.15 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA
