Nov 4, 2009 12oz bottle pours a dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruit, spices, malt and sugar. Taste is citrusy(mostly grapefruit), malty and sweet with some cherry and spice - alcohol warms as this beer finishes. Solid brew.

Nov 3, 2009 On tap at Slow’s Bar-B-Q. Pours brown with an off-white head. Aroma of light fruit and cloves. Flavor is cloves and bubblegum with caramel notes and wheat. Overall pretty enjoyable.

Nov 1, 2009 Not much of a wheat beer fan, but I’ve do seem to enjoy bocks (and Victory) so I gave this one a go. It has a fleeting white head and pours a dark, hazy orange. Smells of orange, lemon, and brown sugar. Strong orange flavor, very sweet, kind of like those chocolate covered orange sticks. No bitterness really of note. Finishes kind of like a lemon. Not bad for wheat.

Oct 28, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours deep copper with lasting cream colored head. Aroma is spicy apples, plums, and raisins with a touch of yeast, very sweet. Flavor starts very fruity and alcoholic, same raisins and plums with atouch of spicy nutmeg, finishes with sweet maltiness and lingers bitterly. Medium body, definitely warms as it goes down. Very good.

Oct 26, 2009 I enjoyed this one at our annual pumpkin carving ritual at Casa Gardler - a great time as usual. Rich fruity aroma - apples, cherries, with hints of resins, spices and dark malt, and a slight hint of banana. Flavor is fruity and complex, and the alcohol is evident. Another great beer from Victory but it definitely packs a punch.

Oct 26, 2009 This beer is a mouthful. A large amount of spices and malts. It has a pretty high alcholic taste and finish. Tasted slightly mettallic but i think that was the booze. Very good winter beer, will warm you up.

Oct 25, 2009 Pours very nice and thick beige head with a cloudy light muddy brown body. Tons of things to smell in this beer: caramel, banana, citrus, and spice. Beer itself gave you a warm feel when drank. Very nice mouthfeel. Some sweetness. Wheat beer taste underlies the whole beer, but a lot more is loaded on top of that basic schematic. Alcohol well-contained, but at the same time noticeable in a good way. Tons of spice and mild hoppage.
