Head produces good lacing but diminishes quickly. Has a fruity aroma with touches of spice. Has a decent carbonation. A thin texture. Has decent finish thats not traditionally bitter but very good. A pretty good duration. The flavor has a very good mix. I like this one. Its fruity but smooth. Well done. Fantomas23 (463), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Apple and pear cobbler. Sweet and juicy. Some banana bread as well. Alcoholic pepperiness in the finish. I wonder if Victory ever considered forming an Eisbock out of this. As if I need more alcohol in my beer. Metalhead (571), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2006 I’ve had this the last 3 years running. The 2003-04 were not that impressive. Malty fruity beers with a thicker mouthfeel. The 2005 was differant. Had the same qualities as past years but with a BIG banana Bread presence. That IMO makes a world of differance. harmfuldrunk (288), New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 1, 2006 Thanks to SpringLicker for this one. 12 0z bottle, enjoy by 4/05. Nice looking beer. Big carbonation on a copper pour. Medium frothy head. Heffeweizen like aroma. Banana clove and light hops that give it some crispness and spiciness. The taste is spicy ginger, pepper and hints of banana cake. Lightly malty but in a fresh way (wheat I assume). Warm alcohol. Very light hints of sweetness like you might get from Belgian hard candy. Slick medium body and a round mouth feel. Not a favorite of mine, but not too bad. kramer (2469), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 25, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy chestnut color with a fluffy one finger sized beige head. No visible carbonation. Aroma is just bursting with fruity esters, it’s like banana bread in a glass. Notes of bubblegum, caramel, candied dark fruits, and a hint of alcohol. Spicy and fruity flavor with banana, caramel, chewy wheat and light alcohol. Finish is fruity and yeasty. Lively and fizzy carbonation that cuts thru the thick cloying malty base prepping your palate for the next sip. A nice chewy Weizenbock with lots of flavor, one of my favorite seasonals from Victory. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2006 Bottled Aug O5. Pours hazy reddish brown with tan diminshing head. Wonderful fruity aroma of banana and cherry lifesavers. Flavor of dark wheat malt, citrus, and a hint of caramel. Alcohol is well hidden, though I pick up a tad amount in the otherwise sweet and yeasty finish. I can’t believe how well this held up. This is a great domestic wheat beer. I am a fan of Victory, but this one really surprised me, as I am really picky about my wheat beers. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Poured a hazy brown with a big tan head that settled quickly. Sweet fruity aroma with banana, raisin, and cherry picked out. A sweet dark fruit flavor with spices and hint of malts. Medium thick body. Very enjoyable!!
