Jan 2, 2005 Deep amber and a little hazy but not as hazy as many wheats. Medium light tan head and decent lacing. Malty, fruity aroma. Nice roasted malt flavor with some hops and fruity sweetness of apples and citrus zest. I thought the mouthfeel was a bit thin but it was a tasty brew all the same.

Dec 28, 2004 Copper in color, aromas of banana immediately present followed by spice. I always had Aventinus alone at the top, but this one ranks right up there with it. Nice medium mouthfeel, spices and malt hide the high alcohol exceptionally. How can this be almost 9%!!
Super finish as the spice lingers.

Dec 24, 2004 Pours a small golden amber hue with a small slight-off-white head with somewhat decent lacing. Aromas of butter, popcorn, and malt. Flavor is very very malty and buttery almost like buttered popcorn??? Alcohol is barely noticable with flavors of butter, roasted malts, a little toffee, banana, a little spice. Very unique...I haven’t had any weizenbocks in my time as a an alcoholic, I mean drinker, but this is the most unique lager based brew that I have had. Fairly bitter finishm yet very addicting. mmmmm....I kinda like this a lot.

Dec 23, 2004 Hazy dark amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of wheat, banana and cloves. Flavor of wheat, cloves, citrus and a quite bitter finish.

Dec 23, 2004 Creamy head, light crimson color. Aroma is alcoholic and malty. Taste was totally off. Very sour, no discernable wheat. Very tangy and tart. I’m thinking this was a bad bottle.

Dec 18, 2004 This is more like Belgian tripel than some Belgian Tripels.Spiced fruit,like those sliced red things they pit on your plate with a hot turkey sandwich.Clove,cinnamon cherries and sweet malt.Flavors aren’t quite as sharp as I was hoping,I mean if the taste matched the aromas I would have been really impressed.Comes up a little short.

Dec 18, 2004 Ruby amber body, slightly cloudy. Some glowing gold colors. Head is big, and cherry-vanilla colored. Smells of wheat , clove and cherry malt. Taste is sweet and spicy with lots of clove and more cherries and plums. Almost a little too sweet actually. Aftertaste is clove and fruity malt. Nice beer.
