The hop, however is pronounced enough to balance the fruity sweetness nicely. Old Horizontal is top notch. I need to have a barleywine-off between Horizontal, Bell's Third Coast Old Ale and Three Floyd's Behemouth. Based on memory I'd give it to Three Floyds since their crazy hops are the best I've tasted. winterlager (101), Orchard Park, New York, USA

It is hard to believe that there is 11% alcohol in this...it is so smooth and the flavors just make you want to keep drinking, you can't put this one down. Each sip gets better and better. Perfect blend of hops with the citrus taste at the end. This is a beer to fall in love with! obisbeer (558), Barcelona, Spain

Heavey flavor with sweetness that abounds and lingers on and on with a pleasant hop finish. Flavors of vanilla, cherry, toffee, carmel, malt and light piney hops. Wow always a favorite!
