KnN (615), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Jul 3, 2009 Pours clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, hops and more hops. Smells very green, but not vegetal. The Saaz really seem to be playing nicely in this beer. Only downfall is that there’s a weird soapy aroma and flavor on the backend. Not sure what that is, but this is otherwise a really nice beer. leems (57), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 3, 2009 Draft @ Belmont Station / Nice golden color with a large fluffy white head, nice lacing. Floral, light pine, and grass clippings dominate the nose. The body is light and hoppy. If more pilsners were like this I would drink a lot more of them. lithy (1187), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 1, 2009 Pale golden yellow with a thin white foam. Huge grassy, hay, light malt aroma. Taste is bready, yeasty, clean grassiness. Solid pils. Bigsilky (282), Charleston, USA Jun 30, 2009 Excited pour throws a firm cap as veils of bubbles tantalize the eyes. Sea foam dances atop a serious hop freshness, with the CO2 the tickle turns to a scratch. A much needed one as clean barley and a wall of bittering hops washes over any thirst. Clean, snappy finish with lingering hops. A great lawnmower for the geek, a nice crossover for hophead wannabes. 92 bluemooner (210), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jun 30, 2009 Pours a clear, pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of floral, grassy hops, with some malts. Flavor is also a bit hoppy with hints of citrus, earth, malts, a little fruit, some grains, and yeast. A very tasty Pilsener OleR (1750), Oslo, Norway Jun 29, 2009 From bottle@Københavnske Øldage 2009. A mostly diminishing, shiny white head upon a very pale, yellow colored body. Superfresh and fruity hop aroma. Also some floral and grassy notes and a whiff of dry, grainy malts. A dry and crisp malt body backed by some well prononced fruity and grassy hops. Crisp and vivid mouthfeel. A fine bitterness lingers in a long finish. An excellent Pilsener! DerBiermeister (479), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jun 29, 2009 Slightly hoppy aroma. Looks remarkably like a dehydrated person’s urine. Tastes of hops and water, little else. Palate thin and almost undetectable other than hops. Watery. Overall, this beer is highly overrated. fidelis83 (558), Clinton, Iowa, USA Jun 29, 2009 Bottle thanks to Birdiebeagle. Pours pale gold with a rocky 2-finger white head. Aroma is lots of grass, a faint citrus, fresh grain and mineral. Flavor is fresh and dried grain right away a little toasted white bread, lager yeast crispness, a little mineral water, floral hops, and a little grapefruit and mineral to the finish. Palate is light, crisp and clean with a neutral entry and pleasantly dry finish. This is a fantastic pilsener, truly fantastic. As far as the flavor and palate go I really couldn’t imagine a pils being any better.
