bottle- the best out there for me- super huge saaz hops nose, followed by a crisp hoppy bite and sufficient pilsner malt support- Wow.

Bottle from Utobeer. Clear paleish gold, thick rocky white head. Very grassy pils. Creamy pils aroma. Quite nettley on the finish. Maybe just lacks a bit of balance, maybe just a bit too hoppy on the finish, to be a truly refreshing balanced pils. Herby nettley hops. Rest of beer is good, attractive lightish malts. But maybe just a bit too nettley.

This pils pours a nice golden hazy color with a small head. The nose is slightly herbal and of robust hops. Flavors of tangerine,grapefruit peel, and finishes clean and crisp. Great pils!

On tap at the Peekskill Brewery. Pours a clear yellow with a medium white head. Citrus, sweetness, and some grain on the notes. Thin to medium bodied, with more citrus coming through. Finishes light and grainy, with a light bitterness.

Thanks adamharnaugh for this 12ozer. Pours clear yellow with a pillowy white head. Nose is creamed corn, pale malt, hay, grass, and hops. Flavor is bittering pine hops intermingle with hay, grass, malt, and a corn/ fruit sweetness that quickly retreats from the truckload of hops. Well-made, thirst quenching, and medium-bodied (for a pils). Refreshing.

Maybe my favorite choice for the warm summer months. Pours a pretty pale gold with a light but thick white head that takes a few minutes to diminish. Aroma’s easy to pick apart - distinctly hoppy with hints of sweet citrus and some floral notes. Hits the mouth with a balanced bitterness and enough astringent character to keep you reaching for the glass. Difficult to do much better in the style.

Dark golden with a moderate pillowy head. A little hops, straw, and fruit aroma. Light crisp and refreshing. An excellent pilsner.
