Jblauvs (530), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Apr 5, 2009 Straw pour from bottle, frothy white head. Hoppy, sweet fruity aroma is very refreshing. Best pilsener aroma Ive ever enjoyed. Really solid malt backbone that accentuates the hoppy overtones. A very enjoyable, very sessionable pils. Bitter finish is a nice touch. One of the Premier U.S. Pilseners. Period. kempicus (350), Wellington, New Zealand Apr 4, 2009 In the bottle from utobeer. Tried after finishing work at the pub....i’ve been drinking milds and olds all night so this is nice and refreshing....I don’t have much experience with US pilsners but this is damn good! not much in the way of aroma, touch of grainy malt more than anything and that comes through in the palate. Great big malt palate that elongates the hoppy goodness, this beer is made by the palate! nice dry bitterness to finish damn good beer! Under-age Drinker (96), Colorado, USA Apr 4, 2009 Beautiful, pale, off yellow with champagne carbonation. Very minimal nose with a dry mouthfeel, too bitter of a finish for me, although I have little experience with pilsners vtafro (452), , New Jersey, USA Apr 1, 2009 Updated: Jun 13, 2009My favorite pilsner made within the united states. One of the better the better beers made by victory. foundmd (163), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Mar 29, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours pale clear yellow with an enormous frothy white head. Nice and crisp moderate hops with some complimentary malt flavors. Finish is clean and refreshing. This is one of my least favorite styles of beer, but Victory has done a fine job with this one. This one for Bud and Miller devotees to try. Beerman125 (18), , New York, USA Mar 29, 2009 I was hosting a beer sampling party and selected the Prima Pils as part of the lineup. I’m typically not a pilsener fan, but many of my guests enjoy them. In a blind tasting I was very pleasantly surprised by this smooth, hoppy gem from Victory. EHopper (274), Minnesota, USA Mar 28, 2009 Wow. I am not much for a Pils, but I’d take this one anytime. I have got to put up some of these and serve to my friends and family who are constantly disappointed that I don’t have a Miller, or Bud, or whatever on hand. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Mar 26, 2009 Updated: Apr 22, 2009Courtesy of jerrymorrison. This pours a golden color topped with a thick head which yields notches of lacing, after almost every sip. The aroma is malty and saazy as well as a little zesty and herbal. This is a nicely hopped pilsner. Saazy hops, a bit earthy, sweet grassy malts, and a wonderful crisp, bitter, dry finish. An excellent Pilsner. One of the best I’ve had. Thanks Jerry!
