Pours a clear gold-orange, some enduring 1/8" head but excellent lacing. Aroma of citrus, straw?. hops. Starts slightly sweet, quickly turns dry/bitter, and finishes the dry. Good for a pilsener, but not as good as last year’s batch. sebletitje (1903), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours golden, thick white head.
Aroma of pale malts, grainy some floral hops.
Taste, light, malty, light hops with faint citrus notes and bitter finish.
Came off a lot better than many other pilsener with a very forward earthly aspect that make is crisp and very fresh. HonkeyBra (1319), Lemont, Illinois, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 3, 2009 I’ve had this on tap and from a bottle. Pours a light golden color with a finger or two of head. Smells slightly hoppy and very clean. Taste is very smooth with a taste of dry citrusy hops coming on late. Very easy to drink. This is one of my favorite pilsners. A great session beer with a good blend of clenliness and hoppiness. This is not like your macro pilsner, which has no taste. This beer has hop flavor but is not overpowering. I am partial to a good pilsner and I highly recommend you give this beer a shot. erikcallaway (4), Grand Rapids, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Prima Pils pours a pleasant straw color and had three quarters of an inch of creamy head. It has a very pleasant hoppy aroma, which leads to a nice bitter taste on the front. While it is not hard to drink, it is not as smooth as other craft pilsners out there. Odd for the style, it seems to have a flavor on the finish that reminds me very much of a Hogaarden or any number of other Belgian witbiers. It may be the touch of citrus, but it seems to also have some of the yeasty properties in a Belgian. It also has a less crisp texture than what I imagine a pilsner to have. It has an almost creamy mouthfeel. Its carbonation lends to the creamy feel. Overall, I do not think that this is a great beer. It is unique in that it does not taste like every other pilsner out there. NDbeerdrinker (164), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Nice beer. Only real Pilsener I have to compare it to is Pilsener Urquell, and this is better. Clean aroma with malt and some grassy notes. Drinks smooth and clean. Dry finish. Kenbeer30 (41), Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2009 12 oz bottle. This beer surprised me! I poured it into my lager flute and it produced a white foamy head that lingered, and left heavy lace. The nose was PILSNER. But weird. It was like it wanted to give a slight skunk... but NEVER did. The nose was strong pils with thick cut grass and astringency. The flavor is yummy Saaz hops with the german malts rising in the throat. This beer is dry, and has distinctive pils flavor. The Palate is thin, but not quite watery. The nice thick head adds to feeling of fullness. Very nice pils, infact, best I have had.
