This is a decent pils. It has a lot of good flavor. It has a slight bitterness to it at first, and then really packs a punch with the spice, and then goes back to the bitter finish. It definitely has many layers of flavor.

Pours pale yellow with a nice fluffy white head. Some lacing that falls down. Aroma of noble spicy hops. Some lemon as well, but not much malt. Taste starts off with a lemon zest that follows through with a nice spicy bitterness that just tastes excellent. Not much malt complexity, but it shouldn’t be expected from a Pilsner. This beer with be appreciated for fans of noble hops, because this beer has noble hops aplenty. A light bodied and super refreshing beer. This is probably the best American Pilsner syle beer I’ve had. I also believe this is much better than Pilser Urquell, Czechvar, and Sam Adam’s lager. If you like true hoppy pilsner beers then you owe it to yourself to pick this one up.

330 mL. Pours a clear pale yellow with a very nice two-finger off-white head that is thick and frothy and has good retention. Leaves very good lacing. Aroma of lemongrass, grain, corn, and a nice punch of Saaz hops. Taste is medium-bodied with biscuity malt and lots of bittering hops that creates almost a metallic taste but is not unpleasant. Creamy to metallic mouthfeel. Sort of spicy, bitter aftertaste. Good rendition of the Czech style.

If a person wanted to purchase this product just for the smell they wouldn’t be wasting their $1.79. Grassy and earthy these hops are masterly incorporated into the brew; think wild clover, think freshly tilled soil or newly mowed hay in the morning glistening with dripping moisture or the lingering residual essence of vegetation on your hands after working in the garden, think summer and green leaves and bark on a sugar maple. I couldn’t get enough of putting my nose right in the glass.

Beer pours light pale with lots of bubbles and a slight white head. Aroma is subdued with mild hop presense and pilsner malts. Flavor is not very descript. Hops are of grapefruit and their sharpness covers any malt presence. Beer finishes clean. Overall this beer is OK but nothing that stands out for the style

12oz bottle. About as good an example of the pilsner style as you can get. It’s just not a very interesting style overall. But I like that Victory nailed it (yeah Pennsylvania!). Golden-yellow color with a slightly fizzy white head that dissipates. Grassy aroma with nice sweet malt. Crisp and refreshing with slightly bitter grassy hops on the flavor and pale malty sweetness with some honey. Extremely drinkable.

bottle - Pours slightly hazy light gold with a one finger white head. The aroma is of floral hops and some bready malt. The flavor has that bready malt taking a backseat to the dry floral and grassy tasting hops. This light bodied brew is a pretty good session brew. I’m not convinced that rating it higher than the classic Pilsner Urqell is justified though, so I won’t.
