Dec 21, 2008 A brilliant yellow pour with a mountain of a puffy white head. Big aroma of hops and a grainy smell, while the taste is an excellent balance of hops and malts with a great snap to the finish. I am still a neophyte to this style, but I definitely enjoyed this one.

Dec 19, 2008 Pours a bright yellow color with a fluffly white heads. Lots of bubbles. Looks very nice in its pilsner glass. Pretty nice hoppy aroma. Flavor is dominated by the hops, but has enough maltiness to balance out the bitterness. Good, crisp finish. Pilsners are not my favorite style, but it is easy to tell this is a nice one.

Dec 14, 2008 Bottle, from Winter 08 variety pack. Golden pour with a decend head and carbonation. Hoppy aroma, and initial bite that has some maltiness to it and ends with a smooth hop. Very nice balance to it. Nice hoppy pils from a local brewery. Not nearly as hoppy as the Hop Devil, IMO the prima is a more drinkable beer overall. This is a quality brew.

Dec 13, 2008 Bottle. Another great American style Pilsener that would be a better choice than the ones that have to travel from Germany. Pours with a more golden color and a fairly large frothy head with good retention. Aroams of grain and hops, hop and malt flavors wiht a nice balanced finish, not too harsh. A very nice beer.

Dec 12, 2008 Updated: Dec 19, 2008At first pour there was a skunky aroma which I dont mind under the right circumstances and this worked The skunkiness dissipates pretty quickly. Pours golden with limited white head. Flavor is crisp bitter and refreshing. Decent pilsener.

Dec 9, 2008 Updated: Dec 30, 2008Bottle from Tipsy’s Liquor World, Denver. Pours a pale gold with a nice fluffy white head. Lemon/lime and slightly metallic hops with sweet, grainy malts in the nose. The flavor has a nice crisp hop bitterness, none of the usual skunky nastiness, and the malts, although sweet and grainy, are not of the the usual corney variety I often associate with the style. Well balanced and just ever so bitter with a clean, dry finish. I’ve enjoyed very few pils to date and this is definitely one of them.
