This brew tastes awesome citrus malts and great malt sweetness. It’s kind of strange how the hops stand out first then the sweetness follows on this brew. Nice and light in the mouth and crisp on the tongue.
This is now my go to pizza beer, and now that victory is now in Maine It may be my go to brew for next summer. Extremely drinkable for anyone who was wondering doubleo (1104), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Bottled. Clear yellow color, medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma, bit flowery, slight grassy. Good bitter pils taste, slight grassy, smooth. Great palate. Very good pilsener style (which is supposed to be and in this case truly is obvious different from the typical american pale like ales). elihapa (1051), Honolulu, California, USA

Palate is crisp, slightly dry, a touch thin. Flavor full of grass, with some malt and hops. I’m not all that impressed, to be honest, but in honor of Victory’s faithful recreation of the Pilsner style, I’ll settle for judging this beer as “decent”.
retried 5/2/09: OK, OK, I wasn’t fair to this beer the first time. Grassy, herbal aroma in the nose. Flavor has definite breadiness, grass, light lemon and herbs. Finish is crisp and dry. To be drank on a warm day, not sipped from a snifter. awiseman01 (342), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Great that even two star restaurants have craft beers nowadays.
Full malty flavour, hoppy aroma, dry crisp finish. An ideal food companion.
