jezmez68 (332), Chesterton, Indiana, USA Jul 10, 2008 Bottle from Trader Joe’s in Orland Park, IL. Pours clear gold with a big, soft head that didn’t take long to disappear. A good example of a German-style Pils done American. Nice strong hop taste with a clean finish. Please, American brewers, more like this! NYCubfanbudman (4), , New York, USA does not count Jul 10, 2008 Wow. This is the best pilsener from a domestic brewer that I’ve found after years of looking. A really crisp, snappy beer in the finest Czech style. This is really good stuff. Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Jul 3, 2008 Pours a pale gold with a medium frothy white head.
Aroma is light lemon and honey hop aroma.
Very nice,
Flavour is grassy hop, grainy malt and some corn tones? Light lingering lemony bitterness.
JaPe (69), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 29, 2008 First thing that hits you are hops. Then comes flavors of honey and pine.Nice strong even carbonation thats not overwelming. Very Nice. nuplastikk (1159), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 26, 2008 12oz bottle. I think this is my favorite American Pils. Transparent deep yellow color with an almost green tint to it. Deliciously crisp and surprisingly hoppy for a Pilsener. Creamy yeast still manages to shine through and compliment the initial bitterness. Excellent as a slow sipper or a session ale. Classic. timmy300 (199), bloomington, Illinois, USA Jun 26, 2008 crips, clean, hoppy, this was a perfect beer to enjoy with lunch on a hot summer day. zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA Jun 25, 2008 Updated: Jul 4, 2008Very clear body with a thin white head. Mild floral aroma. Crisp and lean with lots of hops to finish. Good. Swalden28 (1439), McKinney, Texas, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle, Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX.
Pours light yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma of pilsner and hops, I also got faint bannana. Flavor of malt with a generous hop flavor and bitter that works out well.....Medium body with med-high carbonation. Over all, a very tasty beer....did enjoy it.
