oteyj (713), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Jun 5, 2008 Pours golden with nice one finger head. Aroma of citrus, spice, a hint of hops and sweet malt. Quite strong actually considering the style. Flavor is a mix of sweet malt, some hop presence as weel as spicy notes- most notable ginger. Almost tangy mouthfeel with quick, dry finish and not too much aftertaste. Quite flavorful and refreshing. Nice one. calgone (17), Athens, Georgia, USA Jun 5, 2008 Bottled. Very sweet malty aroma with a hint of alcohol and a decent note of noble hops. Nice malt flavor with a slight bitter finish. Hops come through more in flavor. Aftertaste is kinda bleh. I expected more hop aroma. But tasty. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA Jun 3, 2008 The beer pours a clear yellow with a quickly disappearing thin white head. The nose is a mix of light aromatic hops and grass. The taste starts clean and finished quickly but the middle of the palate has a funk to it. Almost like wet paper or rotting straw. gpekar (221), Maryland, USA Jun 2, 2008 Poured a clear bright yellow with a nice foamy white head that left good lacing. There was a slightly grassy hoppy aroma with a hint of grapefruit/citrus. A nice crisp clean initial taste that was slightly bitter. The finish rolled into a little stronger bitterness, but was generally mild and refreshing. Snoop59 (69), Penn Run, Pennsylvania, USA May 31, 2008 12 oz. Bottle. Pour a light golden color with a substantial long lasting white head. Excellent lacing. It carries a light grainy aroma with subtle hops. The initial flavor has a faint, sweet maltiness and closes with a dry, somewhat bitter finish. This is a light bodied pilsner that is refreshing and quite drinkable. AR (417), Georgia, USA May 30, 2008 The pilseners are not my favorite type of beer and I don’t really find much special about this one. It has a tart flavor with a grapefruit accent and malty undertones. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA May 29, 2008 Pours light golden colour, small white head. Aroma is of soft hops, lemon and gigner. Slightly bitter, and slightly hopped. Clean and refreshing throughout the beer. Finishes soft. v64 (74), Austin, Texas, USA May 28, 2008 Tasty. The hops come through in the aroma, and the balance in the taste with the malt is perfect. Not too weak, not too strong. Very clean, easy to drink beer. For a pilsener, it’s great, but if you don’t like pilseners in general, it won’t hurt to pass this one up.
