Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Another fine vrew from Victory. Nice subtle hoppy aroma, great color. Thin head that dissipates somewhat slowly. Excellent beer when served in a tall pilsener glass, chilled well.

12oz bottle. Aroma of honey, citrus hops, white wine. Average sized foamy white head that mostly diminished and left great lace. Light yellow gold hue. Clear and sparkling body. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a slight crisp hop finish. Palate is lively and watery. Light bodied and refreshing. Wow, what a great beer. Very refreshing and quite drinkable. Far and away the best pilsener I’ve ever had.

Nose has a great, fruity balance with grapefruit and raisins and picks up a funky, cheesy blanket near the finish. Golden body with large, long-lasting white head and loads of lacing. Taste is a beautiful balance between huge hops and a bready, sour malt character. Palate is alive with hops. Beer finishes with less bitterness than starts, but balance is still present. Serious beer.

Grassy and moderate hop flavor; beautiful in a pils glass. Traditional to the style, PA folks should support the local brewery with this one and put down that case of Heinken... Stella on the other hand, maybe....

Yellow color; small, white head dissipates into a small, white ring but can be resurrected a bit with some swirling. Aroma citrus, grass, wheat. Flavor is strongly unbalanced with overwhelming bitterness, which, to me, completely invalidates the high rating of this beer; aside from the overdone hops, I do appreciate the rest of the flavors, which include bread and grass. Nice body; surprisingly full for such a light beer. Overall, this is a decent beer, but it’s also a great example of the ridiculous bias here toward overhopped beers; badly unbalanced, and the bitterness overwhelms the rest of the flavors.

12-oz. One of the classics of the American craft brewing revolutions, I know. But it’s really just ok. Pours crystal clear medium gold with a fluffy, spritzy platinum blonde head. Settles quickly to just a smear. Plenty of attractive rising carb. Big skunky nose. Probably not their fault, but there’s very little left here in the way of hop aroma. Medium/light watery body, lots of artichokes and skunk on the mid-palate. There’s a little bit of hay and biscuit in there as well to show it’s not completely broken, but this beer is really not ready for prime time.

A- Yellow in color with a nice frothy head that sticks around for quite a while. Looks very carbonated. S- Smell is not too expressive but definitely malt forward with some hops. T- Tastes sweet and malty but definitely has a hop kick for a pilsener. Very smooth and tasty. M- Mouthfeel is very carbonated (perhaps a bit too much) and medium bodied. The carbonation, while somewhat overkill did add to the light smoothness. D- This is sublimely drinkable. It melds a lighter pilsener style beer with a flavor that is so well balanced and smooth it makes you want more and more.
