Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.

From bottle : Pours a slightly hazy light yellow, with a very white foamy head, about 2 fingers tall, that sticks around for a few minutes. Nose of esters, and skunkyness, and some corn. Taste has a slight bit of fruit, but continues with the skunkyness from the nose, and the corn. Medium body, with a lively palate. Aftertaste is of corn again. I cant say that i care for this very much.

I usually avoid Pilsners, but a recent review of this brew in Draft Magazine had gotten me interested and I’m glad I picked up a bottle... Poured a straw, yellow tone with a thin white head. Fruity hops and esters on the nose. Dry and foamy palate and flavors of bread-like hops and malt with a nice crispness and balance. Other fruity flavors like apples and oranges. Victory really made a great Pilsener here.

Pours a light golden yellow. Body is light with a light mouthfeel. The skunky hop content is quite a bit of a surprise. One of the better light beers around.

Good, but overrated. Yes, it’s hoppier than the average pilsener and, honestly, it’s a solid beer, but I get over it pretty easy. Has a few nice dried fruit (apricot) and spice notes. The malt aftertaste is a touch skunked/metallic but still fairly clean. Just don’t see why this beer is so highly rated. Then again, if you (like most american microbreweries) equate hops with quality, you may have a new favorite pilsener.

Nice yellow color; Head left something to be desired; Grassy, wonderufl nose. Dry, spicey palate. A satisfying pils- maybe one of the best I have encountered.

Botle. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a small short lived white head. Aroma of floral and spicy hops with pilsner malt in the background. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and a dry crisp finish. Very good.
