Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Pours a vibrant yellow color with a clear complexion, good head retention and limited lacing. The smell was sweet with citrus notes and some herbal scenes as well. Taste has a crisp, dry and hoppy flavor. No skunk flavors and very easy to drink. A great pils backing but there is more of an American style feel. The hop is very floral and crisp. The malt is the stronger of the two flavors. I think that what this beer has going for it is that it is super easy to drink, the flavor is smooth with out the European skunk and its easy to get.

Rich, golden body with a respectable, white, lacing head. Assertive hop aroma, and that gives you an idea of what to expect in the flavor department. This Pilsener is aggressively hopped, yet Victory added enough malt to keep everything in check. Actually, this is one of the few Pilseners that go very well with the winter months; yes, I think it’s that bold. Anyway, the carbonation level is nearly perfect, and the overall mouthfeel is quite satisfying. This truly is a very fine beer, and I will definitely purchase it again in the near future.

I love bitter pilsners like this with spicy food. I have to eat to get the bitterness off my tongue, then I have to drink to quench the heat. It’s what systems engineers call a positive feedback situation.

pours a bright golden color with an average sized white head. aroma is of sugary lemons and grassy hops. flavor is complex starting off hoppy and ends with a spicy bite. I’ve yet to be unsatisfied with anything from Victory.

A very hoppy pilsner. Aroma is curious and fun with spicy and grassy notes, with a tinge of orange rind. Flavor is dominated by hops (spicy, hints of resin begin to appear) with a strongly bitter finish. Some malt flavor. Overall the flavors are bold. The finish is interestingly dry.

12 oz bottle. Bought it with good intensions. I wanted to have another good victory. This one was not as good as the others. Poures a light head and golden yellowish body. Grass and light hops are present. Good, not great.

Pours gold with a decent sized white head. Sweet grass, hops, and bread aroma. Flavor wasn’t much different. A little bit of metal in the hop flavor, and the sweet is a bit overpowering and a funky earthy flavor pops its head in in a not so great way. Finishes clean, slightly bitter, thin. Decent.
