Jan 23, 2008 Pale caramel gold, white head that settles away fairly quickly. Pungent, spicy herbal hops, unctuous, and toothy. A bit of mint. A little dill. The smell of tomato plants in the sun. A nice tart lager note that blends happily with the garden quality of the hops. Full chewy hop character that feels charged with little bits of electricity, elegantly blended with a surprisingly big malt structure. A lingering cinnamon note. Very hop forward, but with a rare balance and grace.
After several weeks of some kind of sinus bug totally killing my ability to smell, this is a welcome way to celebrate the return of scent, glorious scent! Thanks so much Alaskanwarren for this fine beer!

Jan 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours straw yellow with a bone white two finger head. Nose is green grass, earthy malts, a touch of caramel and a twinge of spice. Taste is sweet malts upfront with subtle caramel notes, finishing crisp citrus, grassy and Saaz like spicy hops. Finish is light and dry, thin refreshing body, great for a hot day.

Jan 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a straw color with a nice head and lively carbonation. Aroma is earthy with spicy hops. Light with a creamy fruity flavor, and a subtle spicey malt backbone. Crisp and definitely refreshing. Nicely balanced. Very good Pils.

Jan 20, 2008 a ornagish yelloish hazy color. very hoppy aroma. I have died and gone to heaven. this beer has the perfect balance of huge hops and enough maltyness to balance it. there is an amazing crispness, and refreshment. a must try.

Jan 20, 2008 A decent pilsner....definitly good on a hot summer day. Crisp, clean and refreshing...but in a good beer way, not in Busweiser way. Nice malt flavor and aroma.
