Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Clear gold with a slightly sour malt aroma with just a dash of floral hops. Earthy hop presence in the taste over sweet malt. Slightly metallic dry finish. Not bad for a pils.

Draught. Strong aroma of pretzels and straw. Light yellow body with a slight haze, but mostly clear. Full bodied palate carries a well-balanced malty sweetness.

The aroma was saaz hops and a crisp spicy lager aromatic. Some light caramel was notable coupled to the hop presence and a bit of DMS was there as well. The beer poured into the glass clear golden straw with a white low head which was persistent and laced the glass. The flavor was malty on the front end with a bit of caramel which was kept in check with spicy hop bittering and flavor. The flavor was almost grassy with hops and was well done, but a bit stale (probably due to the age of the sample). The finish was dry with lasting bittering and flavor hops into the aftertaste and beyond. The body was medium with a moderate carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. A nice pint, some aroma missing due to age and a bit of the fresh hop characteristics, but still holding up very well. 12 ounce bottle, best by Dec 25, 07.

Draught at Pub in Ida Noyes. Clear golden with one finger white head. Aroma is grassy and citrusy, you can tell there are some hops in this. Clean and refreshing, with hops in the middle and end. A really good pilsener.

Great. Smell and taste have...honey... It sort of comes through as well in the texture. Very sweet and refreshing. I would drink this for dessert... Now...in the bottle, I got none of the honey that I was describing earlier. Still absolutely delicious.

12oz bottle - Poured glowing straw color with small head. Aroma is grassy hops and also citrusy scent. Taste is citrusy with subtle hop finish. A very clean dry finish with this brew. Overall a very good lager and one of Victories better beer’s.
