This was our second visit of the evening we walked just 5-6 doors away to have a Mexican meal and then we were back. This was one another one of Caseys beers and again a decent shout. Pours a lemony yellow colour with a white film head. The Saaz hops are really strung out, good classy, crisp bite to this, some sweetness, its very simply but well done and I my opinion that is how a Pilsner should be. Pale yellow. Airy, lemony nose. Thin body. Citrus, vanilla and metal flavour. Reminiscent to Jämtlands President. True micro brew but more of a German Style than Czech. ratman197 (3254), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2005 Bottle. I’m not a Pilsener fan but I trust Victory to surprise me. Pours a clear bubbly gold with an average size lasting white head. Very nice looking. I’m not loving the aroma, there’s something about it that I don’t care for very much. The flavour is that of a Pilsener but you can actually taste hops and it’s quite tasty. This is probably hoppier than a Pilsener should be but I’m not complaining, it’s an improvement. Kudos to Victory for making a Pilsener that I really like, it’s probably the best one I’ve had -- now if they could do something about that aroma. Pours a very lightly hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, honey, grains and some light hops. Flavor was dry and bitter. Also with some citrus, grains and grassiness. Really nice Pilsener (not a style I get too much out of but this was one was very solid).
