Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Bottle, # 800 for me - seems to be a decent enough beer to celebrate the occasion! Light yellow pour, small white head. Strong pils hops in aroma - probably more so than usual. Medium frothy active mouthfeel. Taste - wow, what a flavourful pils. Tons of hops true to their style roots, lots of light malt taste even though it looks really thin, this is an excellent refreshing tasty pils! Long lingering dry bitter finish. Well done Victory, not my favourite style but one I would reach for again any time of the year.

Tap at Barcade: Golden beer, with perfect clarity and topped a white consistent film. The aroma is bright with light citrus hop notes, predominately lemon, grassy notes and a pale malt hint. Flavor is similiar. Crisp, with evident smooth lemon-hop notes, with enough malt character to hold the body. Bright and clean with a smooth bitter finish. Solid Pilsener profile.

[1505-20080702] Bottle. Grassy straw aroma has slightly wet hay hints. Clear, yellow orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head and some centralized bubbles. Grainy straw flavour is a little watery. Medium body has some astringency. Average, drinkable.

Bottle: Aroma is lemon, grassy, and a touch of spice. Pours a transparent yellow with a white head that is somewhat quickly diminishing. Lemony and grassy up front with a light-moderate hop finish. Even with the hops it’s still a pilsner and I just can’t get into the style. Yes it’s one of the better pilsners, but nothing fantastic in my opinion. For those that are a fan of the style, probably quite the find.

Appearance: Clear, yellow body topped by a foamy, white head that supplied clear-cut rings of lace on our way to the bottom. Smell: Aroma smelling of grainy pils malt, moist discarded lemon rinds, and fragrant, spicy hops. Taste: Grainy tasting pilsner malts with a light honeyish sweetness. Hint of lemon. Richly floral and spicy noble hops with an ingratiating medium amount bitterness. Finishes dry and quite crisp. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: Keenly drinkable. One of the better American-corn pilsners around.

First time in awhile that I used my footed pilsner glass. Pours to a fully lasting rocky white head with excellent lacing and a glowing golden body with visible carbonation. The aroma is bright. Lemons, sourdough bread, and dandelion wine. This is definitely thoroughly hopped. The flavor is crisp floral/perfumey hops, subtle spicy hops, decent biscuit malt. Drying finish on the palate. Yet refreshing given the carbonation. Worth a try.
I picked up a sixer of this. The more I drink it, the better it is. This is SUCH a well made beer.

From draught. Small head that dissipated but left some lacing. Weak hop aroma. Nice golden color and smooth palate. Slightly sweet and nicely hopped. Slightly bitter/hoppy finish. Crisp and refreshing.
