| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2003 Nice golden hue. A bit cloudy. Fluffy head could form more easily, nice staying power. Aroma is pleasantly grainy, lemon. Hops add floral, slighty spicy smell. The flavor is more of the clean crisp dry malt. Hops come through on short dry, bitter finish. Decent retention and little specks of lacing. Grassy aroma with an earthy tinge. Grainy taste with a bitter finish. The hop tastes lingers quite a long time. Medium body. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2006 Update June ’05 on draft: This beer was far superior on draft than in a bottle and was somewhat enjoyable after a summer outing. The grassiness was much toned down on draft and the overall flavor was crisp and refreshing. The bottle version I had in fall of ’04 was much less impressive and watery tasting (grassy too). | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Aug 4, 2004 Bottle: Poured a clear golden colored beer with almost no head. Carbonation is really weak which seems to be a problem with some of the Victory that I had lately. Aroma is quite subtle has I would expect of a pils but the taste is way too sweet for a pils. I’m guessing they put too much of cascade hops in this. There is some way better pils out there. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

This was a very easy to drink deep yellow brew. Very light head but was a good flavorful summer drinkable brew. Liked the hops and the malts used I would have another after I mowed the lawn.
