Hops meet the nose while preparinf the tongue for the well balanced sweet/bitter brew with the hoppy finish. Light, dry, and lively this is a refreshing Pilsner. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with crystal clarity and a medium sized head. There is a light flowery scent. The flavor is initially mild with a sweet flowery taste that seems to just swirl around the tongue and provide a brief sour/malty aftertaste. One of the best pilseners I have ever tasted - but not so much as to make me much of a drinker of this style. Indra (2036), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 25, 2002 Citric, fruity, lightly grassy aromas, along with some faint yeast, how unusual is yeast aroma in a pils... Appealing dynamic golden yellow color, some fine haze. Carbonation and head are most impressive and the lacing is also very nice. Flavor is nicely balanced between the light but bodifying German pilsner malts and the fresh-tasting, spicy hops. Finish is on the dry side, and the malt plays its part well here, too, adding a little light, bready sweetness to the drying effect of the hops. Yeah, this is just about the best Pils I ever had. Lots going on here for that style of beer. They may be German ingredients, but they’re in American quantities! bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Bottle at beer-30. Pours clear light gold with a white head. I’m kinda wondering why this doesn’t show up in the Bo-Pils category. Aroma and taste of flowery hops, biscuit, straw. Maybe a tiny bit of citrus? Nice crisp-dry finish. Rather a nice pils or bo-pils. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 4, 2008 From a 12oz. bottle--Poured a golden-straw yellow body with a small, but attractive white head. Sweet floral nose with some Pilsner spiciness in there. Slightly earthy and grassy, but overwhelmingly tasted of honey. Very nice beer from a solid brewery! Surprisingly full-flavored, very hoppy, with nice malt character to it as well. Medium-bodied, long dry finish. This is a great Pilsener. DaSilky1 (2019), San Diego, California, USA
