While I liked the Troegs better, this was tastier and hoppier. More hops than any pilsener I’ve ever had. Pour was a bubbly gold with a quick thin white head. Aroma of slight hops. Taste of hops and lemon with a crisp dry finish. This is a summer beer all the way! oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

Flavor is nice and hoppy with some malts coming through. A very nice Pils. Probably the best this side of the Atlantic. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2003 Bottle. Slightly cloudy golden color with a huge white head that diminished leisurely. Sweet and spicy aroma, nice malts with lots of floral and woody hop notes. Wow, flavor is good with the typical pils maltiness to start, then a whole bunch of spicy hops coming on giving way to a long dry finish. Light body and mild carbonation make this a fine drinking brew. Dorwart (1829), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 7, 2003 Decent thick head. Very strong aroma of hops and a slight ovetone of fruit? Light golden color. Smooth taste with more hops. Finish is dry and slightly bitter (yummy!) with more hops again. The best pilsner I have had yet. So much better than most of those imported (skunky) pilsners. PRIMA Victory! rederic (1815), montréal, Quebec, Canada

Can’t tell about the head cuz mine basically exploded when I opened it, but the color, taste was great. Body is thinner then Lagunitas Pils. thornecb (1810), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 11, 2006 Poured from 12 oz bottle into footed pilsner. Head quickly dissipates to approx 1/4 inch and stays. Crisp malty aroma. Quick hop flavor turns to malt and back to hops where it lingers for quite a while. Lively carbonation. Bitter hop flavor is quite intense and astringent. Very refreshing.
