Now that I have, I have nothing but positive things to say. The 1st impression is a citrus fruit hoppy aroma. The appearance is unique; the cloudy, amber-gold hue with a thick white head provides an alluring attractiveness. This is quite possibly the best pilsner I’ve ever had, which means it supplants Urquell from the top of my list. There is so much flavor and complexity here, it is almost unfair to other Pilsners for Prima to be an entry in the Pilsner category. Nevertheless, the bar has been raised, and we all will benefit from competitors attempting to best the Prima! plovmand (1730), Helsinge, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2009 Bottle. Clear yellow body with a medium white head. Malty and freshly hopped aroma. Flavour is loads of malt, caramel, some pine and grape. Medium bodied. It ends up hoppy bitter. Nice session beer. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2006 Bottle: Pours a light golden color with a nice white head and great lacing. Aroma is a mild doughiness with some hops and malt. Taste is a clean breadlike maltiness with some hop tones, citrus, grass, and perhaps a bit of grain. Nice clean finish, one of the best pilseners I’ve tried to date. blipp (1710), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Bottle. Appearance: Hazy yellow/orange, thick white head. Aroma: Sweet malt, splash of hops. Palate: Medium/thin. Flavor: Grassy, almost straw like, hops. Overall: Decent, nothing spectacular. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 17, 2002 Mine has only the slightest bit of haze, a nice golden color and perfect two minute white foam. The aroma is half-full but with a lucid display of freshness -- the greener qualities subverting the heavier peppery character. Wee bits of bubblegum in here. The body is a fine medium with medium carbonation and makes a solid delivery platform for crisp, clean and substantial well-balanced lightly sweet malt flavors and hardy hopping. This belches very well. In my humble opinion, among the best of its class. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
