12 oz bottle courtesy of alagnak. Enjoy by Mar 28 09 stamped on the label. Pour is hazed yellow golden with a one inch pure white head. Nice splotchy lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, earth malt behind that, some light clove yeastiness. Nice nose. Taste is the ester clove hop grass and teastiness. Nice full earthy resin malt backbone. Palate is medium thin, prickly carbonation, really drinkable. (8,4,7,4,15 - 3.8)

A most excellent beer after some yard work, it has a fantastic pilsner taste with a beautiful hop bite that is oh so missing in most beers like this. The beer pours out a medium gold color, slight haze with some carbonation present. Head was about 1/2 inch thick with an agressive pour and melted into just a scant 1/8" head. Aroma is lemony, hay, and a bit of sweet fruit. Medium bodied with a slight twinge of carbonation. Flavor is mild, with a touch of fruit, more grassy/hay character and a glorious bitterness that just works oh so well. A nice lingering bitter finish that is uplifting, never harsh. Incredible beer. Pours translucent yellow, giving way to a one inch froth. Lots of spider-web lace here floks. Garden floral aroma pairs up well with the sazzalicious infusion in my nose. Bready notes follow, with honey and pepper. These notes are all subtle, and mingle well together. Fresh hops flavour with mild bitterness is welcome. Flavours also consist of bready, malted out sweetness and a touch of peppery grassy to finish. Crisp and refreshing. Nice summer beer!
