However, Victory’s version, "bohemian style" is easy drinking complete with fresh hop aroma and mouth feel. Left me very "hoppy". Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Pale caramel gold, white head that settles away fairly quickly. Pungent, spicy herbal hops, unctuous, and toothy. A bit of mint. A little dill. The smell of tomato plants in the sun. A nice tart lager note that blends happily with the garden quality of the hops. Full chewy hop character that feels charged with little bits of electricity, elegantly blended with a surprisingly big malt structure. A lingering cinnamon note. Very hop forward, but with a rare balance and grace.
After several weeks of some kind of sinus bug totally killing my ability to smell, this is a welcome way to celebrate the return of scent, glorious scent! Thanks so much Alaskanwarren for this fine beer! JohnnyJ (1352), Carlsbad, California, USA

An excellent Pilsner. Someone shoudl send a couple cases of this over to Miller so those bozo's can taste a "real" pilsner, and maybe they will stop advertising Miller Lite as one! Re-rate: just had the draught version. No real difference: both are excellent!!! fly (1333), austin, Tejas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 8, 2003 (This might get a certain credit from me in being the longest I've misplaced a rating which I can thank my dad for) Light straw color. Nice sharp hop attack. First sip comes across as being very light bodied, um, like a pils? Thinking the depiction of a hop cone on the bottle is very appropriate. Reminds me of a beer I had in Germany (not a pils) and that makes me think back to a drive to the airport in Munich just as the sun was rising, heading past fields that had all the poles and wires in anticipation of the hops. And now I'm tasting fine hops and thinking - thank you Britt. kwoeltje (1333), Manchester, Missouri, USA
