I've never really found a pilsener that I liked, that is until I tried this. Profound hop aroma and flavor, smooth texture. Piney and sappy undertones. Very pleasing. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2002 Updated: Jul 5, 2003re-rate: This beer deserves a little more than I had originally given it. Crisp, sharp finish is very refreshing in warm weather, and the hops are mild, but fill the beer with their goodness. Definetly not my favorite Victory Beer. Original rating: In fairness, I don't care for most of the pilsners I've had in the past either. However, in general, I don't like my beers watery no matter what the style - Prima Pils has a watered-down flavor and a sour finish. Darkover (1313), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Nice hop flavor and aroma, and not an overpowering sense of grass. Good bitterfinish to this beer. Another victory for Victory. boFNjackson (1302), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Updated: Apr 4, 2008I usually avoid Pilsners, but a recent review of this brew in Draft Magazine had gotten me interested and I’m glad I picked up a bottle... Poured a straw, yellow tone with a thin white head. Fruity hops and esters on the nose. Dry and foamy palate and flavors of bread-like hops and malt with a nice crispness and balance. Other fruity flavors like apples and oranges. Victory really made a great Pilsener here. zathrus13 (1300), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is hoppy, but not overpowering. Flavor is bitter hops and malt. A nice, relativly straight forward beer. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA

Smells good. The bottle I just opened
almost sounded like a champagne bottle
upon opening. Highly carbonated and pours
the biggest head of any brew I have seen.
Wonderful hop, kinda spicy flavor with a dry
finish. Very good pils. j12601 (1298), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
