Crisp, clean flavor of mild malt and a nice dry hoppy finish. Very refreshing beer. Next time I’m looking for a lighter beer to drink, I think I’ll have another of these. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Bottled. Beer is clear, medium gold colored with a small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing head. The aroma is malty with moderate notes of slightly husky toasted grain, toasted bread, trace of toasted almond; Hoppy with moderate notes of resin/pine, lemon zest; Yeasty with a moderate note of wet bread dough; Trace misc. note of bubble gum. The flavor is lightly sweet, moderate bitterness that grows heavy, finish is shorter—lightly bitter, lightly acidic. Nets out a touch watery. The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively. JaBier (1219), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 23, 2009 Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine. Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Creamy malt nose with some subtle hops. Sweet malt flavor with a bitter hop finish. Good for the style I guess, but not as good as I had heard. zebracakes (1215), Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Bottle. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma is malt and slightly citrus. Flavor is the same and a little metallic & skunky. I’m not a big fan of pilseners anyway. durhambeer (1213), Durham, USA

Has a nice pleasant floral hop aroma and crisp, slightly bitter finish. Great session beer. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2006 Nice aroma for a pilsner. Overwhelming saaz hops on the aroma. Still had some o that swill smell, but it was more like outdoor aromas, like hay and grass. Slight syrupy texture and flavor, along with LOTS of saaz in the flavor, grass, hay, alfalfa, and all in all, it made me think this would be like the king of lawnmower beers. I’ll take this any summer day in the sun. BuckNaked (1204), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Bottle: Pours with a medium/large frothy white head and a pale golden yellow. Aroma is light malts and hops. The hops continue into the taste, where they nicely balance out the malt qualities. This is the most amount of hops I’ve tasted in a Pilsner and I really like it. Victory has managed to up the hoppiness, but not take away from any of the more subtle malt qualities of their pilsner. Very refreshing, very crisp, slightly bitter. Excellent lager.
