Aroma mostly sweet with a hint of pine. Sweet first then a long refreshing saaz finish. Big hops, very nicely balanced out. Excellant pilsner, outstanding. FlssmrBrewAlum (1177), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2008 12 oz bottle from John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Pours a very light yellowish hue with a decent white bubbly head that quickly dissipates. Aromas are slightly of pilsner malt and light hop notes. Taste is similar, some "stinky bread" malts as I like to call them balanced well by some spicy bitter hops. Refreshing and quenching, but just as good as any other brew of the style that receives considerably lower ratings than this bad boy. Overrated for sure. Still, I’d drink it again and it was a decent beer troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a golden color with a nice white head. Good lacing. Crisp hoppy aroma and high quality malts in the taste. Some grassy hints, with a distinct lemongrass-like finish. This is probably one of the most flavorful and crisp Pilsners I have ever had. Definitely a winner in an otherwise lackluster style. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Clear gold with a slightly sour malt aroma with just a dash of floral hops. Earthy hop presence in the taste over sweet malt. Slightly metallic dry finish. Not bad for a pils. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

The flavor has more floral with a backing of citrus and caramel. Light body and a mild bitterness. glkaiser (1172), Seattle, Washington, USA

Clear golden with good head. Crisp slightly sweet hop aroma. So refreshing, and yet it has taste? Wow, imagine that. Just enough hop bitterness, and balanced very well. Very crisp and clean. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2006 This was a solid pilsner, but nothing spectacular. The aroma was of bitter hops and earthiness. The pour was the classic pilsner look--golden with a strong white head. Flavors were mostly malts with some spicey hops coming in at the end of the drink. Refreshing for sure, as I could drink this one all day.
