Aug 14, 2003 Gold colored. Malty aroma. Plenty of hops, slightly bitter. Dry finish. A very nice pilsener.

Mar 17, 2005 Updated: Aug 25, 2005Very solid Pils, can understand why it is at the top of the Pils pile. Very smooth and easy to drink. If this was what other light looking beers tasted like, I would understand the appeal. Easy to go down, I regret that I only bought a single. Delicious frothy head. I can imagine enjoying this during a nice summer barbeque.

Oct 9, 2003 Updated: Dec 7, 200312 oz bottle poured a crystal clear golden color with a nice head, storm of bubbles, and very nice lace. The aroma is very hoppy and flowery. The flavor is very hoppy and has a solid malt backbone. Almost a buttery flavor in there somewhere. The palate is perfect. This is good.

Aug 22, 2003 For a long time I have searched for an American pils that would remind me of the 3 glorious beer drinking years I spent in Germany. I was always disappointed--that is until now. Pours a golden color with a lot of small bubbles, and a beautiful head that lingers forever. I was initially put off by certain characteristics of the aroma, but all that was quickly forgotten with my first sip. This, my friends, is a delicious pils, the rival of any I had in Germany. A rich malty taste with a beautiful bitterness at the end. Although I still am an IPA man, this is perhaps the best pils I have ever had, including my former favorite, Jever pils. Excellent.

Nov 9, 2003 really light yellow, clear pour. a bit murky pale golden colored body. huge, very pretty, white pillowy head that's filled with peaks and valleys. mmm yes! sweet and a bit spicy/lemonpepper with dry finish. crisp, good, a bit bitter. refreshing.

Jul 12, 2007 outstanding beer. it says what it is , its a primo pilsener pretty much the best pilsener that you can get in my opinion. nice body with tastes of malt, grass, grain , hops and honey. good stuff
