Jul 9, 2001 Though I’m not much of a pilsner fan, this is a quality brew. Very dry and bitter at first with a sweet malt middle to balance and a big hop finish. Love that Saaz!

Jun 25, 2001 When I saw it, I said I’m not going to like it. It’s too light. When I tasted it, I thought it was very good. Nice flavorful, hoppy beer.

Re Rate 5/29/02--What the hell was I talking about the first time I rated this. This is great stuff! Nice grassy/floral hop notes with a nice dose of sweet malt that balances it out. Wonderful and certainly my favorite pilsner.
A good domestic example of a pilsner, but Im just not a huge pilsner fan. The Saaz worked for me though.

Nov 17, 2003 Quality Pilsener. Pale, pale gold in colour. Probably the most hoppy pilsener that i've had, really bitter aswell, grassy/haylike aromas, slightly honeyed. Pretty soft mouthfeel at the start, but the bitterness hads some sharpness and length to the flavour. Which is a good thing, coz its a tasty brew. Liked it very much.

Jan 17, 2002 Mine has only the slightest bit of haze, a nice golden color and perfect two minute white foam. The aroma is half-full but with a lucid display of freshness -- the greener qualities subverting the heavier peppery character. Wee bits of bubblegum in here. The body is a fine medium with medium carbonation and makes a solid delivery platform for crisp, clean and substantial well-balanced lightly sweet malt flavors and hardy hopping. This belches very well. In my humble opinion, among the best of its class.

Aug 31, 2001 Not a typical pilsner. Crisp and clean, this beer’s flavor and aromatic characteristics are dominated by hops. Some underlying pineyness to this sharp, but not biting, ’pilsner’. Low on yeast, high on personality, this is unchartered territory for me: a pilsner I like.

Oct 4, 2001 A little more hoppy than a crisp pilsner one might expect. But very good especially if you like hops.
