Looks pretty much like a standard pilsner should look, light golden color with a medium-sized head. The aroma is a subtle mix of hops and malts. The subtle malt character is in the flavor, and the hops come through very much. The finish is all hops and bitterness that I really didn’t enjoy very much. For the style it is very good, at the very least drinkable, but still not my thing. Nice try Victory, but not even you can make me like pilsners. [RE-RATE] (original 12/17/02, now 12/21/02) After a second bottle, I must give the beer props for being the best of its style. That is saying a lot. And I can’t remember the last time
I was able to finish an entire 12 ounces of pilsner. Bravo, Victory. This may be a bad style of beer, but there is still something to be said about making the best of the worst. morty99 (371), Maryland, USA

Tasty, well made, and hoppy as hell. nice golden color with cloud white head. Big hoppy, floral aroma. Incredibly hoppy taste for a pilsener which I enjoyed thoroughly. Dry, bitter finish. Lots of lemony yellow hops in the nose, pours a nice rich gold color with a pillowy white head. Flavor is filled with plentiful lemony hops as well, wiht a nice bitterness in the finish. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 29, 2003 This is a great pilsner. JZ brought this one to the 2003 Beer exchange. Pours with a decent head and great carbonation. Lacing hangs on for a long time and color is a perfect light gold. Nice and bitter, but with a clarity and brilliance most pilseners miss. This would be a great summer beer when the sun is shining hot and you need a good brew. Decently dry and biting as it finishes with a light mouthfeel. Not as hoppy as some say about this beer, but definitely a keeper. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
