Aroma is grassy with a bit of hop spiciness. Flavor is a classic Pilsner, a balance of hops and malt leading to a dry but not prickly finish. Very smooth with a nice edge to the maltiness. Touch of bitter in the lingering aftertaste. Very nice. billk (300), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA

Small white head that didn’t last long, minimal lace. Aroma was mild malt & pleasant, fresh European hops. Rich malt flavor, moderately dry, slightly tart. Pushing the medium bodied category for a pilsner. A good pils with a rather rich/smooth favor. 10/05/04. Very slightly sweet, nice malt body w fresh, clean hops, dry finish. Still very low carbonation unless the glass is put down fairly firmly then some carb can be seen rising {tap version}. 3.5 still holds. 5/6/06. After drinking Urquel fairly regularly I now like this Prima at least as much. I’m putting a 3.6 on it for now. Good stuff. 6/20/06 3.7
4/18/08: 3.9 now.
I’m upping this to a 4, and will probably raise it again later. When I’m in PA is’t almost the only thing I drink. wxman (588), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2005 Beautiful clear gold color with an egg foam head. Mild bready hop aroma, earthy. Soft pale malt taste with a modicum of hop bitterness. Like any true-to-style pils this isn’t very complex, nor should it be. This is probably one of the best (if not the best) domestic pilsners there are! jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Crisp, clean flavor of mild malt and a nice dry hoppy finish. Very refreshing beer. Next time I’m looking for a lighter beer to drink, I think I’ll have another of these. Pours a pure golden colour and smells hoppy, fresh and very slightly citriussy.
Taste is sharp - hops and some malt and even a small herbal component. What remains is a nice, mild hoppiness that destroys thirst without overpowering the taste buds. And man, does it ever go down easily.
I really hope that this becomes an LCBO regular. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Aromas of hops, citrus, and underlying malt. Finishes very smooth, slightly dry, with blasts of hops and slight citrus. Great pils. Odeed (1677), Bakersfield, California, USA
